Some time back I did a posting about an earthquake that had been recorded in the vicinity of our home and that it wasn't felt by us. This led me to want to know just how frequent and where the earthquakes were occurring within France. So that has led to me compiling a map showing just where they were.
Here's a snapshot of the past two months...

It's proven to be quite interesting to me, just learning where the seismic regions of France are, the Pyrenees as expected as well as the Swiss/Italian border regions (Alps). But just to the north east of Le Havre, offshore, is a very active region - whilst they may not be so big, they are at least quite frequent.
